Good Neighbors GTX had a table in the new gym at the Carver Family Center (1200 W 17^th Street, Georgetown). Their annual backpack give-a-way brought in close to 2000 children receiving school supplies in a backpack for the 2024-2025 school year.

GNGTX had a table with flyers about our services  as well as a “Ring  the sword in the stone” game. (kids threw a crown over the sword to earn a prize) Backpack tags were the prizes if the crown was thrown over the sword. Why this game? The Carver Center came up with the knight theme for this year. We don’t know how many children and adults came by our table but know it was more than 100.

GNGTX and Starry, Inc. have a good working relationship. Starry often refers their clients to us for the help we can provide.
