August 3, 2024 Good Neighbors GTX had a table in the new gym at the Carver Family Center (1200 W 17th Street, Georgetown). Their annual backpack give-a-way brought in close to 2000 children receiving school supplies in a backpack for the 2024-2025 school year. GNGTX had a table with flyers about our services as well

July 20, 2024 Good Neighbors GTX hosted a back to school give-a-way at Stonehaven/Shady Oaks Apartment Complex (which is under the direction of the Housing Authority). We served @ 30 children this time. Kids (ages toddler – teen) received new socks, undies, toothbrushes and toothpaste and were measured for a new pair of shoes. Donations

February 28, 2024 Wednesday, February 28th we served families at Stone Haven Apartments who are managed through the Housing Authority in Georgetown (an HUD development).
