August 3, 2024 Good Neighbors GTX had a table in the new gym at the Carver Family Center (1200 W 17th Street, Georgetown). Their annual backpack give-a-way brought in close to 2000 children receiving school supplies in a backpack for the 2024-2025 school year. GNGTX had a table with flyers about our services as well

July 20, 2024 Good Neighbors GTX hosted a back to school give-a-way at Stonehaven/Shady Oaks Apartment Complex (which is under the direction of the Housing Authority). We served @ 30 children this time. Kids (ages toddler – teen) received new socks, undies, toothbrushes and toothpaste and were measured for a new pair of shoes. Donations

February 28, 2024 Wednesday, February 28th we served families at Stone Haven Apartments who are managed through the Housing Authority in Georgetown (an HUD development). We had socks, undies, shoes, clothes, baby things and a few toys to share. Our normal give-a-ways will be socks/undies/shoes and seasonal clothing for toddler sizes to teens. We’re going to start
